💡Optimization of transport and handling? Thanks to our Valpak, we make the difference especially in these two areas. ⛟ Transport: by compacting the cardboard into bales of at least 400 kg, we will be able to transport at least 4500 kg per transport in a 40m3 container. ⏱️Handling: because our Valpak is fully automatic, we will ensure that no time is lost on the work floor. Automatically emptying system for battery recycling Our latest emptying system for shredded lithium batteries (size approx. 20x70 mm) has now gone into operation. Together with our customer BATREC Industrie AG, we have now been able to record the process in a video on site. In the manual part of the system, the big bag with the shredded lithium batteries is placed in the hanging position using a forklift. The operator then manually hooks the big bag into the crossbeam and starts the fully automatic emptying process. The big bag is transported to the emptying position via a chain hoist. The heart of the system is the emptying unit, in which the big bag base is automatically cut open on 3 sides and emptied. The shredded batteries are then fed into further production via a discharge floor. The empty big bag is automatically discharged from the traverse into the compactor and disposed of. The aim of the overall system is to return as many raw materials as possible from the batteries to the recycling process.
