To learn about the significant strides we’ve made, we recommend reading Dana Wood, Kelly Kovack, and the BeautyMatter team’s "A decade in, Credo cements its clean-leader status with a range of new vetiver-spiked skincare." From the launch of our new Credo Skincare line to the debut of our home category (starting with Siblings Inc., DedCool, Caftari, and vitruvi), and our increasing brick-and-mortar expansion (see you soon Portland!), we expect this is just the beginning.

This month, we proudly kicked off our fifth consecutive year of the Credo for Change Annual Accelerator Program. Driven by our commitment to creating a more equitable beauty industry, we launched the virtual Credo for Change program in 2020. Over the past five years, we have supported more than 200 BIPOC-owned beauty brands, and in 2023, we welcomed our first live student cohort. The mission of Credo for Change is to inspire a new generation of thoughtful and diverse leaders who will continue to push the boundaries of the beauty industry. We believe that the future of clean, sustainable beauty will be shaped by today’s young innovators. This year, we celebrated a significant milestone by hosting our inaugural live student cohort in partnership with the Fashion Institute of Technology, the FIT Foundation, and the FIT Social Justice Center. A special thank you to our immensely talented speakers who inspired, guided, and taught the talented FIT students and alumni: Kristin Kim - Glossier, Inc. Dana Mauriello - Entrepreneur Dulce Almario and Bertha Vasquez - Cosmo International Fragrances Sahar Rohani - SOSHE Beauty Mashama Thompson - 510media Christina Ross - Credo Beauty Jessica Trieber- Credo Beauty Mia Davis - Advisor to Credo Beauty Meghan Lim - Credo Beauty We'd also like to express our gratitude to Shibisha Johnson, our Credo for Change program advisor and mentor, for her invaluable coordination efforts in partnership with the FIT Foundation and FIT Social Justice Center teams. Finally, a huge thank you to brand founders Monique Meneses (iota), Keta Burke-Williams (Ourside), and Erin Kleinberg (SIDIA) for joining us in the festivities, and Annie Jackson, Celene McMahon and Naomi Griffin for organizing. We’re thrilled to support these future leaders as they embark on their journeys in beauty. #CredoForChange #EquityInBeauty #BIPOCBeauty #FutureLeaders #CleanBeauty
