Last night, we celebrated the end of our CREO Moves challenge at Topgolf and recognized our winners. Throughout the 6 week challenge, Team CREO moved 9,691,742 steps (4,421 miles). We had a great time filled with friendly competition, impromptu golf lessons, and a birthday celebration! Thanks to all who came out.
Have you ever thought about what Formula 1 and golf-club engineering have in common?
According to an article from GOLF Magazine/GOLF.com, "Even though there is a stark contrast between Formula 1 drivers zooming 200 mph and golfers taking 5 hours to play a round, the science and engineering behind the equipment both sports use is more similar than you might think." "The hyper-competitive nature of golf and Formula 1 has engineers and designers keeping ideas close to their vests and constantly pushing the limits to find performance within the rules."

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to visit the Barber Vintage Festival in Leeds, Alabama – and see vintage sidecar racing! 🏍️
Until that day, I had never seen it in person and it was fantastic. The Barber Motorsports Park was the perfect backdrop for this fun event, with its massive campus of winding tracks and spectators from all over the world.
The sight of those classic sidecars roaring around the circuit, with their skilled riders and brave passengers, was nothing short of spectacular. It's a mesmerizing blend of precision teamwork and raw power that you have to see to believe.
When you think about it, the success of sidecar racing is a testament to intuitive collaboration and teamwork. The rider and passenger must work in perfect harmony, shifting their weight to navigate those tight corners and maintain balance at high speeds. It's a dance of trust and coordination, where split-second decisions can make all the difference. Now that’s teamwork!
This reminds us that success in any endeavor often hinges on effective collaboration. Whether it's on the racetrack or in the workplace, the ability to intuitively understand each other's actions and intentions is key. Just like the sidecar racing duo, when a team collaborates seamlessly, they can achieve remarkable feats.
Events like the Barber Vintage Festival not only entertain but also inspire us to appreciate the power of teamwork. It's a celebration of history, diversity, and the incredible results that can be achieved when individuals come together with a common goal.
Whether you're a racing enthusiast or simply looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend checking out this event next year.

🏎️ Exploring the Physical Challenges of Formula 1 Racing 🏎️
I’ve never had any interest in #formula1 races, until several clients requested Crownox services for the events across various GCC countries. Even then, I initially viewed it as merely a showcase of superb driving skills. However, during my mission research I stumbled upon this video that highlighted the remarkable athleticism essential for success in this sport.
looking deeper into the world of Formula 1 racing and the rigorous training regimens undertaken by drivers to hone their skills. From neck-strengthening exercises to reaction time drills, every aspect of their training is meticulously crafted to push the limits of human performance.
🎯 In a world where split-second decisions can mean the difference between victory and defeat, mastering reflexes isn't just a skill—it's a game-changer. In emergency scenarios, the ability to react swiftly and accurately can mean the distinction between averting disaster and succumbing to it. From healthcare professionals to security personnel, mastering reflexes is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of others.

A montage of contrasts from my time on night shift preparing the Canadian GP in 22’/23’. It’s difficult to capture that feeling of working alone in a place that for a few days per year becomes the center of the world, especiallly for someone with a deep passion for F1 and racing.
Parts of my work like deep cleaning and detailing the FIA, FOM offices, race control or power washing the thousands of Paddock Club seats is solitary and monotonous enough that I can occupy my mind by tuning into audiobooks and lecture series.
Lately I’ve been listening to Marc Priestley’s The Mechanic. Earlier this year Steve Matchet’s Life in the Fastlane where he describes scenes in Montreal that took place just a few meters away from me. That’s a moment that amplifies that liminal feeling and serenity tenfold. Also interesting hearing the parallels and common experiences shared in people trying to break into higher level motorsports and F1. I can confirm that 20, 30 years later the opportunities and processes have changed but the basic experience and feelings involved in carving out a path for yourself in F1 are identical.
Of course cleaning paddock buildings on its own isn’t going to get anyone a significant role in motorsports but it’s the best possible way I could do something to support my passion project financially while building my experience with an unparalleled view of every step of the operation working in the background. These Grand Prix are two hours long but take months and tens of thousands of man-hours to put together. Truly gargantuan events.
I don’t quite have business in the paddock yet during race weekend (working on it!) but I do take the time to do a walk through a few days before race weekend to note what deficiencies can be corrected for next year and to get a taste of the building race week atmosphere. The same areas I casually stroll through strictly sectioned off, compartmentalized and buzzing with activity by stern faced security wondering who this stranger is. Of course they’re just doing their job and theyre put at ease when I talk about the work I do.
Enjoy!
