$NFG.V intersects 300g/t Au over 5.1m and 215g/t Au over 5.2m at Keats with phase 1 trench channel samples. This improved understanding along with the channel gold results are currently being incorporated into the Company’s 3D geological model which will extend the gold mineralization to the bedrock surface. https://lnkd.in/eH8ZB6ng

The results fit within the larger context of a district scale gold-silver composite dome system with superimposed gold-rich veins. Past drilling by Riverside intercepted high-grade gold in 4 of the 7 holes and this sampling over new areas, doubles the strike of the defined mineralization footprint. https://lnkd.in/dFsvkJay

This image taken from this morning’s RNS shows the holes from Hillside Prospects 2 & 3. It’s an important one. The red histograms show the extent of gold mineralisation throughout both holes. The background shows the IP results, indicating broad zones of chargeability possibly associated with the observed and logged sulphide mineralisation in both holes. From this, we can take away two key points: 1) Our IP surveys seem to be reliably showing zones of chargeability, which in the two holes drilled are associated with shears hosting sulphides; and 2) The sulphides in these two holes appear to be associated with broad zones of gold mineralisation, some of which are high-grade lodes, currently targeted by the artisanal miners. via Stockhead Ongoing field mapping and surface sampling has identified a 2km shear zone within the southern half of the Gnaweeda greenstone belt at Meeka Metals Limited’s Murchison gold project. #MEK says this work suggests the en echelon splays within the sheared central mafic unit are the principal host of gold mineralisation and provide multiple, new and untested drill targets. The #gold-arsenic anomalism and shearing at Shaft 1 is also coincident with the interpreted en echelon splays intersected by historical #drilling, which returned shallow results including 8m @ 21.99 g/t gold from 114m, including 4m @ 39.80 g/t gold, 1.6m @ 27.48 g/t gold from 25.3m; and 1m @ 54 g/t gold from 17.2m.
