Yesterday was a game-changer for CREST and the wider global #cyber community! Our CEO, Nick Benson with Annabel Jenkin, Head of the Global Cyber Programme at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, unveiled CREST CAMP at the UK’s International Cyber Skills Conference, hosted at Wilton Park. We were honoured to be there alongside our Middle East and Africa Lead, Sebastian Madden and key stakeholders. Like partnering with organisations such as CyberFirst on their Girls’ Competition. Year 8 girls in England and Wales, S2 in Scotland, and Year 9 in Northern Ireland will team up to take on various challenges – from cryptography and logic to artificial intelligence and networking. And if they win, they’ll take home some cool prizes, and be crowned regional girls’ competition champions. Funded by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, it runs from September 2024 to March 2025, aiming to boost cyber security maturity and emphasise the private sector's critical role in national security.
