Can dogs and cats hear your ultrasound machine? Ultrasonic just means that the sound's frequency is above that of normal sounds that humans can hear. Since dogs have quite sensitive hearing, they can hear different frequencies of ultrasonic sounds. Ultrasonic sounds can come from a variety of devices and many of those items can be household objects. Many animals are able to hear ultrasonic frequencies, and that includes dogs. Dogs are able to hear sounds as high as 50,000 Hz, but it is more likely they can hear sounds up to 65,000 Hz. If we compare this to humans, humans can only hear frequencies up to 20,000 Hz. Dogs have evolved to hear in those ranges, and some of their prey (rodents) make noises in that frequency range. So it is not necessarily true that they find ultrasonic frequencies painful or distressing. Ultrasound frequencies in diagnostic radiology range from 2 MHz to approximately 15 MHz. This is way above what dogs or cats can hear, so although they can hear ultrasonic sound, they can’t hear frequencies anywhere near ultrasound machine beam. The ultrasound machine may make electrical whines or keyboard clicks that they can hear, but this is the same for any machine including this laptop I am writing this on! So you don’t need to worry, your dog cannot hear the ultrasound examination. Photo by Jamie Street on Unsplash #theartofmedicine #vetartis #ultrasound #ultrasoundmachine

One of the key differences with our job advertising platform, is the fact that our audience / followers includes all the ‘already happily employed’ Radiographers as well. This means that whenever you place an Ad with us, at any point in time, your Ad will immediately be exposed to far more qualified Radiographers than any other job advertising platform! Not only will your Ad be in front of all the ‘actively looking for new work’ Radiographers, but it will also be displayed to all the ‘already happily employed’ Radiographers, where you just never know which ‘already happily employed’ Radiographer just might become interested in your advertised role & apply! … Remember our business model, includes connecting with more & new Radiographers constantly / every single day, informing them about our platform & instructing them to simply just ‘follow us’ in order to keep themselves ‘in the loop’ , as there is ‘no harm’ to always ‘have that knowledge’ of the other job opportunities out there, even if they are currently happily employed! As soon they as follow us /connect with us, advertised jobs will simply “come to them’ as they engage on social media in their every day lives & we now have thousands of Radiographers across Australia who follow us on social media- So place an Ad with us today & get in front of all the ‘already happily employed’ Radiographers as well ! #radiographer #radiographers #radiology #xrays #mri #ctscan #asmirt

Remember we have thousands of Radiographer followers across our social media pages, with more & new Radiographers following /connecting to us every single day! The Radiographers actively looking for new work can subscribe to be alerted via email for new jobs advertised or simply visit our website listing page as frequently as they like. Also remember our platform targets even that Radiographer who is currently 'happily employed' as well, where we highlight how theres 'no harm' to still follow us, in order to simply keep themselves 'in the loop' with having that knowledge of the 'other' job opportunities out there - this is great news for advertisers as immediately no matter what point in time when an Ad is placed with us, you know that by far more Radiographers will be seeing your advertised role ie: Radiographers who are 'actively looking for new work' PLUS Radiographers who are 'NOT actively looking for new work' - where you just never know which 'already happily employed' Radiographer just might become interested and apply for a new role! Maximize exposure of your advertised position & place an Ad with us today! #radiographer #radiographers #radiology #xrays #mri #ctscan #asmirt

Recruitment Specialist | I help Radiography professionals secure excellent career opportunities across the UK, both locum and permanent.
🔴 There is no doubt that recruitment, especially within the Radiography sector, is much tougher this year than previously. There aren’t as many locum roles on offer and lots of changes within the market has meant opportunities aren’t as readily available. ❓ What’s your take on this – as a Radiographer, are you struggling to find locum work? #recruitment #radiography
