This full-service shipping container bar will be used to serve beer on tap, canned/bottled beverages, cocktails, and slushies to the beer garden’s guests all year long. With 10 taps, three service windows, and a walk-in cooler, this unit will be able to handle crowds of all sizes. buns from home: A Delicious Twist on Sustainability At buns from home, we've always had a deep commitment to reducing food waste and making our bakeries more sustainable. Although we have grown, not a lot has changed from our very early day in Barney's mum's kitchen. Upon receiving an astonishing amount of orders during lockdown, Barney assembled his brother's friends to deliver his homemade buns on bikes, but did you know that we still deliver stock and MEP between shops using e-cargo bikes? In fact, our entire fleet is carbon-neutral because our vans are electric as well 🚲 But baking is what we do, so food was the first place we wanted to start when considering the environment. When we opened our first bricks and mortar in Notting Hill, we made a rule that our classic buns have a 3-hour window to be sold after leaving the oven, this ensures that all customers are buying the freshest possible buns in the city. Our excess stock is then used to create our pistachio, almond, dulce de leche and banana bread double-baked buns meaning no buns are wasted and all product is fresh fresh fresh 🥜 Next up we took a look at our production. In the process of laminating our dough to create that gorgeous buttery croissant pastry, we create offcuts. These offcuts play a crucial role in shaping the dough into a rectangle before filling and rolling. We couldn't bear wasting this dough, so did some experimenting and low and behold, we created our very own focaccia! Click on the video below to see how we did it!
