After a decade in the game, often as a one-woman band, I know how cyclical market demands can be. Right now, recruitment feels like wading through mud! I mean, how often do we find ourselves in a dry spell where interviews seem to vanish, responses to our outreach take ages (2-3 tries sometimes!), and our inboxes are flooded with irrelevant resumes from candidates simply looking for any job? 😩 Currently, I’m juggling an impressive (and exhausting) 14 job openings while sifting through about 50 resumes daily—all for a company with just 140 employees! Alongside that, I’m also handling: Benefits enrollments and education 📚 Employee assistance and support 💬 Managing PFML (Paid Family and Medical Leave) policies 📅 Organizing monthly events and celebrations 🎉 Sending out gifts and sympathy flowers when needed 🌼 Conducting wage and market analysis 💰 Keeping job postings fresh and relevant ...
