Tire Blowout? Here's What To Do In a split second, you can go from an enjoyable morning commute to experiencing a tire blowout, potentially causing you to swerve into the oncoming traffic. Here we offer some suggestions to help you navigate this scary situation. First, don't panic! You likely will hear a loud bang or a swooshing noise as air is released from your tire. This makes controlling your car difficult and will require all of your attention. Keep both hands on the wheel and your foot off the brake. Immediately lift your foot from the accelerator and allow the car to slow down naturally. Direct the vehicle back into your lane, and once the car has slowed and is under your control, apply the brake. Move the vehicle safely off the highway and call us for fast and reliable assistance. We offer towing and roadside assistance in Smyrna. Call us if you should experience a tire blowout or for any towing and roadside assistance needs! #TireBlowout #SmyrnaTowing

Why Won't My Tire Hold Air? 3 Probable Reasons Warmer weather translates into more driving, increasing the chances of problems arising with your vehicle. One troubling issue is tires that will not hold their air. Here, we discuss three possible causes of a tire that keeps deflating. 1. Puncture: Although this seems to be an obvious fact, it often is an issue that can go undetected. A sharp nail can become wedged in such a way as to hold the air in the tire while driving but give way when the car is parked. 2. Damaged Tire Valve: A damaged or missing tire valve can contribute to air loss in a tire. As road oils and contaminants come in contact with the stem, it will deteriorate, allowing air to escape. 3. Damaged Wheel: Hitting a curb or road hazard can cause a tire's wheel to lose its round shape. This damage will cause the vehicle to wobble when in motion and add stress to the tire's bead, leading to slow leaks that are difficult to detect. If you suffer from the effects of a leaking tire and find yourself stranded, we are here to help. We are the towing company Smyrna residents rely on to repair and replace leaking tires. Call us anytime you need help. We are here to serve! #LeakingTire #SmyrnaTireRepair #SmyrnaTireReplacement

Potholes...they are a nemesis for drivers. An encounter with a pothole can lead to wrecked tires, wheels and suspension components. Here are some tips on how to protect your car against potholes... -Try to take roads you know well. Your familiarity will help you avoid potholes. -When driving at night, travel on well-lit roads so you can see the surface. -If you hit a pothole, carefully inspect your tires and wheels for possible damage. -If you can't avoid a pothole, do your braking before impact. There's less damage when a tire is rolling rather than skidding over a hole during braking. If you run over a pothole and your car sustains damage, check with your local jurisdiction. They may help pay for damages caused by a pothole if a claim is filed. #RoadSafety #PotholePrevention #PotholeDamage #CarMaintenance #DrivingTips #OurStateFarm

Three Summer Safety Tips for Truck Maintenance The summer heat can take a toll on your vehicle, especially if you spend hours driving in hot weather. Use the following tips and beat the heat during hot summer rides. 1. Check Your Tires’ Air Pressure Increased air temperature can result in higher tire pressure, increasing the risk of blowouts. Make sure to check tire pressure before every trip. 2. Test the Cooling Systems You should always check the engine coolant levels before hitting the road. It is critical during the summer season because it helps maintain the engine’s temperature. 3. Ensure Proper Visibility Regularly inspect and clean your truck’s windows, mirrors, and headlights to ensure proper visibility. Check your wiper blades so you can replace them on time and have a streak-free windshield during summer downpours. __________________________________________ ☎️708-588-9820 📧 hr@fastactiontrucking.com 🌐www.fastactiontrucking.com #truckdrivers #trucking #owneroperator #summerheat #drayagecarrier #intermodaltrucking #summerdriving #summerdrivingtips #truckmaintenancetip #truckmaintenance
