The innovation with AI is moving extremely quickly. Faster than even the markets are aware, faster than the current established companies and organizations are aware (except a few) and way faster than the average Joe is aware. This is perhaps the best example, I've seen. Yes, it's a commercial, but it ties it all together: the backend of data, the physical presence of "something", and the experience by a new entrant that at face value provides........ value. By the way, the experience being displayed, makes us more... human? Thought provoking, fascinating, and full of a ton of questions, that are at the crossroads of accessibility and possibilities all the way to security and compliance. Thanks for sharing Awais Khan!

I predicted this would come six months ago. How could it not? When looking at social media trends - people recording and sharing everything about their daily lives like never before - recording all activities to utilize and share is part of younger modern culture for one. Think of reality tv as an example - inviting recording/production crews inside private lives to exhibit and document. But more so - ai devices that see all and have/learn a sense of your space, your world and movements moment by moment; not to mention your personal environment - the pin as an assistant is a game changer for example. Hey: I noticed you’re low on eggs and milk, do you want me to order for you and have it delivered? Or don’t forget, we’re approaching the grocery store, I noticed the lettuce is beginning to wilt… That’s only the personal - then what about professional activities? The expansive application goes on and on. This is real and here to stay while such tech will continue to make inroads into our lives. I’ll have to dig up what I was writing and thinking months back!

Imagine this in a hazardous workplace. The device detects that you’re about to commence an at risk activity and asks some questions to help you determine whether the right controls are in place. Everything takes seconds to complete, to document and to help ensure the ‘way we do things’ is aligned with the ‘way we think they’re done’. No checklists, no tick boxes no paper, no mobile app… this goes such a long way to help us move from ‘tick a box compliance’ to actual critical thinking. I’m excited by this.
