I always have insightful conversations with Astrid von Schmeling, a distinguished expert and long-time colleague in sustainability. We recently covered various critical topics in corporate sustainability, including the latest advancements in sustainability legislation and compliance (CSRD, CSDD, etc.); its impact on the value and supply chain; and the increasing emphasis on environmental initiatives (Green Deal, renewable energy, net zero, etc.). While these are significant focuses, our discussion focused on the continued necessity of developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy to ensure effective integration across all business operations, noting that relying on a single pillar of ESG is insufficient for long-term success. We are very pleased to share our 2024 ESG Annual Report, spearheaded by Stanhope’s #ESG team, Nils Rage, Alice Reid and Daniel R.. This year’s report shows the continuing progress we’ve made to address our environmental impact, promote social equity, and uphold governance standards. Our achievements include: 🎓 - 1,000+ hours of educational #outreach delivered across our activities 🌳 - 31% #biodiversity net gain achieved year-on-year at White City Place 🏙 - 831 local jobs created in #construction across our projects ⚡ - 100% electricity within our control procured from #renewable sources ⬇ - 18% reduction in energy intensity year-on-year in our like-for-like managed office portfolio As a certified #BCorp we strive to use our business as a force for environmental and social good, including investment into the Stanhope Foundation. The Foundation, together with our industry partners, has raised over £1.7m since 2021 to support individuals on their journey to meaningful work opportunities. ESG has greatly impacted businesses, but there’s backlash due to greenwashing and political concerns. To improve, ESG must focus on: Clear, mandatory rules for transparency and accountability. Specific, impactful targets rather than superficial compliance. Better stakeholder management to build trust and value. Despite challenges, ESG will evolve and remain crucial. Companies must adapt quickly, emphasizing strategic clarity and genuine commitment to sustainability to stay competitive. ESG is very important for businesses to help show transparency, accountability, and a real dedication to sustainability. Having clear guidelines, meaningful goals, and improved communication with stakeholders are key for creating trust and adding value. Even though there are obstacles like greenwashing, ESG will keep progressing and stay essential for companies to remain competitive.

An Innovative Approach to Sustainable Finance Thank you to all attendees of our Sustainable Markets webinar, it was a pleasure participating in this open discussion alongside our Financing Directors of ACCIONA and ACCIONA Energía. During the session, we highlighted our innovative features within our Sustainable Impact Financing Framework and provided an overview of upcoming developments in our DCM products. Here are two key developments: -> Introduction of our EVERGREEN PLEDGE into our EMTN programs, where we give investors the PUT OPTION (a right to exit a green instrument) due to non-compliance with Green Use-of-Proceeds. This first-of-its-kind feature in Green Use-of-Proceeds issuances shows ACCIONA's strong commitment to giving investors confidence in our labeling. -> In ACCIONAs Commercial Paper Program we will also introduce a Sustainability-linked + Local Impact option, giving investors a choice between two curves with a difference of some bps in the margin. On Friday 15 March, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners published its ESG Report 2023. Our robust ESG framework and procedures enable us to effectively address risks and pursue opportunities on CIP, fund and investment levels. This is pivotal to ensure long-term sustainable value creation for the planet and local, often rural communities, as well as for our investor, business partners and employees. In the past year, we strengthened our efforts to measure and manage both positive and adverse impacts, and our ESG focus areas included: 1.
