In a recent initiative to fortify our commitment to sustainability, ProCon's Communications and Sustainability Coordinator, Katrine Juul Kjer Hermansen, alongside our HR Coordinator, Nana Teymourian, attended a pivotal networking module titled 𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 facilitated by Port of Aalborg and Styrelsen for Arbejdsmarked og Rekruttering. This session forms a critical component of a broader educational journey aimed at enriching our team with advanced sustainable practices, ensuring ProCon's operations within the Aalborg business park truly embody sustainable excellence.
Returning from the session, both Katrine and Nana brought back a wealth of strategic insights and practical tools designed to align our brand more closely with our core sustainability values. The module shed light on the intricate challenges associated with maintaining authentic and correct branding, particularly in the realms of HR and Communications, providing essential guidelines to steer clear of greenwashing pitfalls.

⚡ Define what sustainability means to your company
⚡ What is sustainability and what is common sense?
⚡ Take responsibility for the value chain
⚡ The “S” in ESG can contribute to much more value in the long run
⚡ Remember the action plans on all your goals – and communicate the actions
Moreover, the experience stirred a series of thoughtful discussions, reflections, and ideas on how ProCon can further enhance our approach to the responsibilities that comes with being SDG-certified.
