🛠 Production Update: First 6 Steps of the REF! We’re excited to bring you a recap of the first six steps in the production of our new boat, the Renewable Energy Foiler (REF)! This milestone marks the beginning of an incredible journey, and we’re thrilled to share it with you. Let’s dive into the key stages: 0️⃣ We have arrived in Fribourg at the bluefactory to set up and officially kick off production! 1️⃣ Scaffold Creation: Using CNC machining, we crafted a sustainable scaffold from particle board, which forms the mold for our main hull. 2️⃣ Okoumé Plywood Machining: Okoumé plywood, a lightweight yet strong material, was cut and shaped to be used both as part of the mold and as a core component of the hull. 3️⃣ Core Preparation: The okoumé plywood core was carefully prepared to ensure optimal performance and structural integrity. 4️⃣ Scaffold Assembly & Reinforcement: The core was assembled onto the scaffold, followed by the addition of local structural reinforcements to create a robust mold. 5️⃣ Resin Application & Drop Test: Resin was applied to the okoumé plywood core to make it watertight. A drop test confirmed its waterproofing, ensuring readiness for the next step. 6️⃣ Omega Bonding & Inner Skin Lamination: Longitudinal stiffeners, or “omega” parts, were bonded to the hull’s bottom front for added rigidity. The inner skin, made of carbon fiber, was laminated onto the core, with resin impregnation to follow in upcoming steps. 📽 Watch the video to meet the team behind the first steps of production and discover our work! Stay tuned for next month when we’ll dive deeper into these processes through an interview with our production team. Don’t forget to follow us for more exciting updates on the REF! 🚀 #SwissSolarBoat #RenewableEnergyFoiler #SustainableMobility #Innovation #ProductionJourney #REF #Okoumé #Carbon

MBestec Belt type color sorter What's the difference between belt type color sorter and chute type color sorter? The belt type color sorter : Lower damage ratio by Belt-type structure design,Horizontal transporting by uniform and stable conveyor makes less colision for the materials. So that its damage ratio is much lower than that of traditional chute-type color sorter.

𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬: 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨! 🔥❄️ Imagine you are faced with the 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 that functions reliably even under adverse conditions. In furniture construction and industrial design in particular, such a component is indispensable - whether due to high temperature requirements or limited installation space. A prime example of this is the Gravity 𝒑𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒗𝒆 from Erwin Koppe - Keramische Heizgeräte GmbH, which manages without electricity thanks to an innovative mechanical drive and still achieves an impressive 80 per cent efficiency. However, the development was not without obstacles: ❌ Metal bearings were too noisy and seized up, while alternative polymer plain bearings generated too much friction. 🔑 The key to success? 𝑳𝒖𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏-𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 made of the material xirodur A500 from igus GmbH. These bearings not only impressed with their high temperature resistance up to 150 °C, but also with their maintenance-free smooth running. No sticking due to lubricants, no downtime.
