The Cleveland Clinic was established by four doctors in 1921 with the goal of providing patient-centered care. Today, it is a world-renowned health system providing cutting edge diagnosis, treatment and research, but is still always striving to put patients first. We are lucky to have the Cleveland Clinic Center for Neurological Restoration (CNR) as part of the CurePSP Centers of Care network and, recently, Jessica Shurer, Director of Clinical Affairs & Advocacy and Kristophe Diaz, Executive Director & Chief Science Officer, spent a day learning about their team, programs and goals. Under the leadership of Dr. Hubert Fernandez, directorship of Dr. Junaid Siddiqui and coordination of nurse practitioner, Patti Clark, the CNR offers an Atypical Parkinsonism Clinic, clinical trials for PSP and MSA, a pilot study of augmented reality and freezing of gait, a quality improvement initiative for hospitalization and much more. You can read about the Cleveland Clinic CNR at https://lnkd.in/ekd-yp9y. #CurePSP #BecauseHopeMatters #CentersOfCare #CoC #Support #Community #NonProfit #Cleveland #ClevelandClinic
