Looking back on a successful CEO Partners event – September 2024, Netherlands 🙏 🇳🇱 Last week we had the privilege of hosting an inspiring CEO Partners event in the Netherlands and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Over the course of two days we had meaningful discussions, explored innovative solutions and connected with likeminded leaders committed to sustainability and the circular economy. ♻ ⚡ Some key highlights from the event: - Enschede Textielstad gave us a first-hand look at sustainable fabric production and presented the future of eco-friendly textiles. 👚 - We visited Human Office where we saw the processes involved in furniture refurbishment that breathed new life into existing resources. ⤴ - At De Vorm we explored cutting-edge designs for sustainable furniture and interiors, setting a new standard for the industry. ✅ - A tour at Gemeente Utrecht administration highlighted the importance of human-centered office solutions and how municipalities are introducing sustainable workspaces. 🏢 - We rounded off our discussions with an evening visit to the Green House restaurant in Utrecht, a beacon for circular gastronomy and sustainable business practices. 🥦 The event underlined the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving sustainable change. We left the event feeling empowered by the shared commitment to a more sustainable future in business. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed and made this event a resounding success. ♻️ While incorporating circular economy principles in the design process are essential for sustainability, changing people’s mindset to actually choose sustainable alternatives is often overlooked. That’s why, when World Design Embassies and Gemeente Eindhoven asked me to design a concept for sustainable bus hubs, I knew the focus had to go beyond sustainable materials and lifecycle. The real challenge was: “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿?” The solution I found lies in enhancing the bus experience and removing its current stigma. The 𝗘𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝘂𝗯𝘀 do this by: • 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: 🧑🤝🧑 Tailoring spaces to different needs, offering both private and social areas for a more personalized, comfortable experience. • 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: ⏱️ Providing real-time information and seamless tech in a stress-reducing environment, giving passengers full control over their journey. • 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘆: 🎨 Eye catching public transport by integrating Eindhoven’s innovative spirit and culture, making the hubs spaces people want to use. These hubs transform public transport into an attractive, convenient, and culturally relevant choice, making waiting time turn into time well spent. 🚶♀️🚍✨ Want to learn more? EXPO REAL (Messe München) That's a wrap for Team TM! Thoroughly enjoyed all the planned (and spontaneous!) meetings and the energy. Expo offers a great opportunity for us to strengthen our Nordic network of excellent law firms and catch up with our international clients. A few take-aways: More optimism in the transaction market compared to earlier years, but yield levels in the Nordic capitals are comparable to other European hotspots such as Paris and London, a challenge for international investors. Residentials and retail on the rise, single tenant logistics more problematic compared to earlier. ESG is a standard factor in all investments, special focus on the "S" in ESG. Excited to take these learnings back and explore how we can integrate them into our future projects! #exporeal #tmpartners #realestate #networking

🚀 Reflecting on an Inspiring Visit from Raphael Gielgen in Barcelona! 🚀 The last week has been nothing short of extraordinary as we welcomed the visionary Raphael Gielgen to Barcelona during thrusday and friday. Raphael, with his unique perspective on the future, visited three key locations: VIVIM STUDIO, CBRE and GCA Architects. Each stop was a deep dive into the future of technology, design, and economy. We explored how spaces can evolve to meet the needs of tomorrow. The discussions around adaptive design and sustainable practices were truly eye-opening. Raphael’s insights on creating environments that not only respond to our current needs but anticipate future changes were particularly thought-provoking. The conversation shifted also towards the economic landscape and the technological innovations that are shaping our world. Raphael’s expertise provided a comprehensive overview of how these elements are intertwined, influencing each other in ways we’re just beginning to understand. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing world. Finally, he delved into the integration of design and technology. We examined how these two fields can collaborate to create spaces that are not only functional but also inspiring. Raphael’s passion for pushing boundaries and challenging conventional thinking was evident in every discussion. One quote from Raphael that perfectly encapsulates these past two days is: “Challenge the status quo!” This simple yet profound statement resonates deeply with the core message of his visit. It’s a call to action for all of us to continually question and innovate, ensuring we’re not just keeping up with the future but actively shaping it. Raphael’s Flipboard 👉 https://lnkd.in/diKZEZiv is a treasure trove of inspiring content, and it’s clear why he is such a thought leader in these areas. His curation of articles and insights offers a window into the trends and ideas that will define our future. For anyone looking to stay informed and inspired, his Flipboard is a must-follow. We are incredibly grateful for Raphael’s visit and the wealth of knowledge he shared with us. It’s clear that the future holds exciting possibilities, and with leaders like Raphael guiding the way, we’re more motivated than ever to embrace change and drive innovation. Thanks a lot Raphael Gielgen!!! looking much forward for your next visit! #FutureOfWork #Innovation #DesignThinking #EconomicTrends #Technology #Sustainability #ChallengeTheStatusQuo #RaphaelGielgen #Inspiration
