We hope their trip to the UK has given them the energy and drive to implement key planning and strategies back in their schools. Paul Hamlyn Foundation's Teacher Development Fund is now open for applications, offering a unique opportunity for arts organisations to: - Partner with primary schools to support teachers to gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to bring their lessons to life through the arts. - Engage in a two-year collaboration where artists and teachers work as co-learners and explore how the arts can help pupils overcome barriers to learning. Great to be at Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds today with arts and heritage professionals from across the North of England, for our course I'm A Teenager, Get Me Into There. We're thinking about how just a few small adjustments to our public spaces can result in young people feeling welcome and valued.
