📣 We are pleased to announce a significant leadership transition! Neil Parkinson has assumed the role as our Chief Executive, succeeding Rob Melling, who has led us with distinction for the past 20 years. Neil brings over 30 years of experience to the role. He began his journey with Curtins as an Apprentice in Liverpool in 1992 and has since demonstrated unwavering dedication and expertise. Rob Melling, now retired after a remarkable 43-year career that also began at apprentice, has been a pillar of strength and vision for Curtins. His leadership has been marked by compassion, humility, and a relentless drive to enhance Curtins for the benefit of both our clients and people. Reflecting on his decision, Rob Melling stated, “Curtins has been my entire career and a significant part of my life. I am confident that now is the right time for me to step down. The business is in its strongest position ever, with robust leadership, a resilient operational structure, and a healthy market share.” Rob added, “Neil is the ideal person to take on this role. He knows the business inside out, and his passion and experience are perfectly suited to continue building on Curtins’ legacy and leading the company into a bright and exciting future.” As Neil transitions from the Board to his new executive role, his guiding principle is to “look to the future whilst building on the past.” Neil’s deep emotional connection to Curtins and our legacy, combined with his forward-looking vision, positions him to lead us in delivering projects that truly improve and regenerate the communities we serve. As a two-time 2024 Consultancy of the Year winner, we are renowned for our diverse sector expertise and project portfolio, ranging from £100,000 to billion-pound masterplans. We're proud that our impact extends significantly into social value initiatives, including a continuing partnership with The Purpose Coalition to advocate for legislative changes supporting gender equality in construction. Neil Parkinson, our new CEO, commented, “I am absolutely thrilled to take on this role and I’m eager to serve our business and everyone in it. I am passionate about Curtins’ awe-inspiring projects and the positive impact we have on people’s lives. We have a strong foundation to build on, and I am energised by the strength of our senior management, digital technology, and collective ownership, which will enable us to innovate, collaborate, and deliver the best for our clients.” We welcome Neil into his new role with much excitement for the year ahead, as well as the for the future which promises to be bright under his steady leadership. #WeAreCurtins #BuildingABetterFuture #Leadershipchange #CEO #Businessnews #constultancy
