Over the past several weeks I've been heads down working on this beaut 👇 State of Customer Conversations 2024 https://lnkd.in/gUczSUvA Ok Alex, what does this have to do with AI? Well, initially not much. We surveyed over 1500 consumers and 500 business leaders to get insight into how they're feeling about CX going into 2024. We asked questions about things like wait times, messaging channels, and AI (you know, the usual stuff). But when the data came back we couldn't help but notice one glaring problem: THE AI GAP. There's a clear divide between consumers and business leaders when it comes to the adoption, education, and overall excitement around AI. That's why 91% of business leaders feel positive about using AI to engage with consumers — something only half of consumers can agree with. When you sit back and think about it, consumer caution around AI makes a lot of sense. This new technology felt like it was only seen in science fiction movies until a year ago.
