#citation Antibodies fight pathogens, generated through V(D)J rearrangement with low antigen affinity. Somatic hypermutation (SHM) enhances affinity, but the bias in concentrated hypermutations in CDRs remains a mystery for decades. Researchers revealed the molecular mechanism of high-frequency mutations induced by CDR regions through highly flexible features. This research was published in CELL, laying the foundation for optimizing antibody discovery and designing a new generation of humanized animal models. Congratulations to all contributors!
