U.S. Central Command (Centcom) is exploring commercial platforms to empower military analysts and operators with limited technical expertise to rapidly create and deploy advanced computer vision (CV) capabilities. Collaborating with the Pentagon’s Chief Data and AI Office, Centcom’s new commercial solutions opening (CSO) aims for self-service platforms enabling warfighters to produce custom CV models within seven days. Centcom's Chief Data Officer Michael Foster and Chief Technology Officer Schuyler Moore emphasize the urgency of quickly addressing emergent threats through integrated, user-friendly tools. Link in comments!) 📈 The Army taking the time to understand the data and ensure the data is correct 🔧 The need for tools that are interoperable and can be integrated with our systems ⚡️ The need for tools that answer immediate questions.
