Have you ever thought about optimising your health in order to attract your next promotion or business deal? Neither did I until I discovered the concept of "Health Optimisation Coaching for High Performance". Forward thinking organisations understand the importance of employee wellbeing for workplace performance however in most cases, they offer their employees access to wellbeing perks, whilst separate to that, they do their best to provide their teams with career/ business development training. But think about it, how often do you actually use those 'wellbeing perks'? The exclusive discounts to wellness brands, the platforms that rewards you with points or the private health insurance that still charges you a fee for testing, when you want to take a preventative approach. And even if you do use your perks, what's that got to do with your professional career? The truth is, there are hardly any measurable links for organisations to really assess whether their employees are looking after their health, and if so, whether that's actually contributing to their workplace performance. Well friends, that's why OptimallyMe has launched a Corporate Wellbeing Programme that marries employee wellbeing to employee performance through health optimisation coaching and corporate business training sessions. This may be a new concept for corporations to embrace - yes, but this is a proven method that most successful entrepreneurs implement consciously, or even subconsciously. It's the combination of building a certain type of mindset, whilst understanding how to continuously support your unique body's requirements, for the ultimate cognitive and physical performance. If you're looking for innovative solutions to empower your team to optimise their health for improved business performance, ping me a message and let's talk about how our Corporate Wellbeing Programme can help you achieve just that.

The burden of ill-health is manifesting itself in different areas; for example, increasing absence from work due to long-term sickness, increasing #privatemedicalinsurance premiums, and increasing prevalence of #cancer. LiveSmart is designed to help people better understand key health metrics, and make meaningful and sustained lifestyle changes to reduce health risks. To find out more contact sales@inuvi.co.uk.

With nearly half a million adults off work because of unhealthy lifestyles[i], global incidence of cancer in under-50s increasing by nearly 80% over the last three decades[ii], and reports of 60% increases in corporate PMI premiums[iii], the business case for keeping employees at their healthiest has never been stronger. As this article from Health & Protection clearly articulates, routine employee health checks shift: “...𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔.” Making this ‘𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘧𝘵’ happen requires a new approach to prioritising corporate health spend. Inuvi’s own analysis suggests that corporate spend is disproportionately weighted towards covering the costs of sickness rather than investing in preventative interventions to keep employees healthy and productive. For every £1 employers spend on insuring the cost of employee ill health, we estimate that only 10p is spent on measures to mitigate their employees becoming ill.
