In our company, employees open their hearts wide for good deeds ❤️🩹 One way to help is through donations. ⚡️ Our company has a donation system, and contributions can be made in the following ways: 1. Opting out of birthday gifts. In this case, the entire amount will be donated to charity. 2. Opting out of quarterly team-building activities. This money can also be sent to those in need! 3. Donating your corporate points, which the company converts into real money and sends to charity. By the way, each employee or department can choose whom they want to direct their donation to. For example, in 2024, the record recipients were animal shelters, and we also help children and elderly people. It’s especially gratifying that in 2024, the total amount of donations nearly doubled! I am leaving this town and moving to a bigger one and trying to give stuff to charity. Sad that there’s a furniture pick up for homeless but the interface is so complicated and they’re asking so much money that I’m gonna go with an ideological charity. I don’t know why homeless charities make it so difficult to give money and things to them. I remember during homeless tent City, they had some weird funding things set up and I couldn’t give money then they switched and just gave out their phone number so that you could donate all can recycling you do to them. It’s these little simple ways to get money to people in need which these organizations need to perfect. #Charity #efficiency

Yesterday I got a call from a charity for whom I was a SYBUNT (ie. I have given Some Year But Unfortunately Not This year). Let's call them Charity Proactive. The telefundraiser was very nice and asked me for a donation. My husband and I have created our list of intended donations for this year and we have made most of them already. Charity Proactive was not on the list this year. But given I had this nice lady on the phone, I thought, "Oh well, another $50 isn't going to hurt us." We're blessed that the cost of living crisis is not a crisis for us. So I said yes, got out my credit card and donated. So think about it: - I had not planned to give to Charity Proactive this year - but squeaky wheels and all that. - Charity Proactive asked me nicely anyway - people give when you ask them to (at least some of the time). - The problem and solution was outlined on the phone but to be honest, I can't remember much of what the nice lady said. I just know it will help people and help save lives. Donors don't always need tons of info about your evidence-based, innovative approaches in order to give. Ask and some donors will say no. But some will say yes. #fundraising #donors
