That's where I find myself today, thanks to a recent collaboration with Smartwool, a collaboration born from our shared commitment to a greener planet.
At Storo, we still feel pretty much in startup mode, continuing to explore new partnerships and refining the clients we want to work with. So far, we have worked with some amazing brands, and it seems the small fish as well as the big fish are making more meaningful and purposeful steps in a brighter direction.
Still, there's lots to do. Next on the agenda is launching our website (!!), but it’s really exciting to see what’s next for us.
Back to Smartwool.
I personally own a pair of their socks, and I must say they are simply amazing. They are made of 100% #Merino wool, sustainably produced, and perfect for both winter and summer. Plus, they don’t smell! Although they are pricier than others, they are incredibly durable and long-lasting.

Launching this April in the UK, Smartwool’s take-back program breathes new life into old socks. Drop off your worn-out pairs at any of the 15 Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports stores in the UK and join this new initiative in transforming discarded textiles into new, high-quality products.
This initiative helps keep materials out of landfills by recycling them into new products.
Smartwool is also introducing their Second Cut™ Hike socks in EMEA this SS24. These socks are made from a 50-50 blend of sock waste and responsibly sourced Merino wool.
