One of my favorite things in the world is texting new hires "HAPPY DAY 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", with a thousand exclamation marks. Today I did that with two such new hires, and they both responded with "THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", with a thousand exclamation marks. Maybe even a smiley face or two. To you, dear candidate- if you've never been greeted on your first day with a thousand exclamation marks- you should work for that kind of company. It's seriously the best.
