Beautiful words from Amanda G. (thanks, Shelley Zalis, for sharing), and my heart and prayers go out to all those affected by the devastating LA fires 💔 I can’t stop thinking about the fires consuming us from all directions—whether war, wildfires, or pandemics—and what the universe is so desperately trying to teach us, yet we continue to fail to learn. From wisdom rooted in astrology and Ayurveda, I’ve gained insights that feel especially relevant today: We are transitioning from an era of earth (accumulation and security) to an era of fire. Fire can either burn destructively or transform beautifully—it depends on how we harness its power. In its raw form, fire is destructive. It burns, consumes, and devastates. But fire doesn’t have to destroy. According to Ayurveda, when fire is balanced with water—think of an oil lamp—it transforms. It provides light, warmth, and nourishment. And what is water? The ultimate feminine energy—nourishing, flowing, and able to run deep. This is the universe’s urgent lesson to us. Through global warming, pandemics, wars, natural disasters, and even the recent man-made epidemic of hate, it cries out for rebalancing. It’s urging us to recognize a fundamental truth: We are all one humanity. Unchecked “fire”—the ego, the pursuit of power over others, and selfish control—burns everything in its path. But when we temper fire with the “water” of kindness, compassion, and collaboration, we transform destructive power into nurturing strength and purposeful warmth. We cannot care only for ourselves. We are one humanity and share mutual responsibility: 🌍 For the planet. ❤️ For each other. ✨ For restoring balance in how we lead and live. Let 2025 be the year we truly learn this lesson and come together to protect ourselves from hate and destruction ✨ Lead with purpose. ✨ Lead with power with people, not power over people. ✨ Lead with kindness. #LeadLikeAGirl and bring more water to the flames—turn destruction into transformation, and build a future where humanity thrives together. Amen. ♥️
Thank you, Amanda Gorman, for your beautiful and compassionate words during this heartbreaking time for our city 💔
The call for balance and unity is powerful. Transforming destructive forces into nurturing strength is a lesson we must embrace to thrive together.
Thank you Nili Goldfein and Smadar Tadmor for holding the light ♥️
