27.5% of our DSNP customers have lived at their residence for less than 5 years; that's over 10% higher than the general US population, according to Statista. Stronger housing stability has long been associated with better health outcomes. This may be why more and more health insurance carriers are allowing DSNP beneficiaries to pay their rent with a monthly allowance card. By helping the vulnerable dual-eligible populations stabilize their place of residence, DSNPs help to address housing instability and build a healthier America. The uninsured rate is expected to rise over the next decade, reaching 8.9% by 2034, primarily due to the end of COVID-19-related Medicaid measures, the expiration of Affordable Care Act subsidies and increased immigration.
