As for day/night, we have light sensors in both the left and right-side modules. Those sensors calculate how much light is hitting each side of the light bar! Eltako has a new DALI-2 certified gateway the FD2G14. This gateway is multimaster-capable. What does that mean exactly? Multimaster capability: The FD2G14 enables collision-free communication between different DALI devices. It supports the interaction of Eltako Series 14 devices, such as conventional pushbuttons, EnOcean wireless sensors and controllers, directly with DALI components. • DALI-2 Certification: The gateway is certified according to the DALI-2 standard. This standard offers an extended range of functions compared to the previous generation of DALI. All previous DALI features are also included, ensuring backward compatibility. • Other features: The FD2G14 can also configure and activate the evaluation of DALI-2 sensors. The main advantage of I2C is only two pins required for the communication. It is firstly developed by Philips company for their televisions . It is used to interface sensors, EEPROMs, RTC and so on...You can connect multiple slaves toa single master.I2C relies on pull-up resistors in order to pull the bus HIGH when in the idle state.
