Here's an exercise to become a better fundraiser: Good for a team too, but next time you go to a checkout page and decide not to buy something, put a note in your phone and document why you abandoned it. Over time, you'll realize you do this more than you think. So are your donors. But now you'll have data. Once you have that data, take a look at your own checkout flow. Where would you have dropped off? Where would you team drop off? What would make it smoother or more likely for you to finish the gift? You might have one shot to inspire someone new to give.
