The EPA is considering some updates to the Lead & Copper Rules for our national water delivery systems (municipal, institutional, school/daycare). Public comment closes on February 5th. If you have something you'd like to share, here's a link: (fyi it's via Freshwater Future which is "in favor", but you can make your comments read however your heart desires) https://lnkd.in/guabFa2G And if you need a little primer, here's the EPA's summary: https://lnkd.in/gzEaGSv2 Cheat off my homework: I'd say YES, you should be in favor of this. No amount of lead is a safe amount. The biggest caveat is that this expense can impact the populations that we are most seeking to assist. If US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) moves forward with this regulation, they need to provide/make connections for/budget grants and financial support to the communities with these challenges.
