The EPA is considering some updates to the Lead & Copper Rules for our national water delivery systems (municipal, institutional, school/daycare). Public comment closes on February 5th. No amount of lead is a safe amount. The biggest caveat is that this expense can impact the populations that we are most seeking to assist. If US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) moves forward with this regulation, they need to provide/make connections for/budget grants and financial support to the communities with these challenges.
