Joel Zimmerman is one of Versant's gifted interns working in our Dallas office. Born and raised in Dallas, Joel recently graduated from The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business with a degree in finance and economics. Joel's interest in wealth management stems from his service-oriented nature and appreciation for collaboration. "Being a wealth advisor is like solving an intricate puzzle," Joel says. "Navigating complex ideas and solving problems for clients will be a perfect fit for me." He chose to intern at Versant Capital Management for the comprehensive, hands-on experience. VC summer internships are popping up ✨ EVERYWHERE ✨ Just this morning I came across several fantastic opportunities on my feed for those seeking experience in venture. Harlem Capital - App closes Feb 6th. Muse Capital - App closes Jan 24th Detroit Venture Partners - App closes Feb 16th and of course the Plymouth Growth application closes Feb 5th Unlike other areas of finance, where summer internships are typically planned months or even a year or two in advance, I've noticed that VCs tend to advertise their internships much closer to the start date. I thought this might be helpful for friends who are trying to plan their summers and navigate internship offers in the fall! VCs: Are you currently promoting a summer internship experience?
