In the comments section 👇 , I'm including: 1) A map of the entire #defense innovation ecosystem, so you can figure out where and how to plug in! 2) Information about CDAOs' Global Information Dominance Experiment (GIDE) series, which is a joint effort between CDAO, Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), and OUSD (R&E) Joint Fires Network. The purpose of GIDE is, "to accelerate the development and fielding of CJADC2 capabilities and concepts for the Department of Defense in order to deliver information to warfighters and senior leaders at the speed of relevance and spur faster decision-making than our adversaries." It's a great place to prove you have something #defense needs. 3) A BMNT hosted event coming up, called "How Defense Tech Startups Can Get the Most Out of Experimentation." This event helps companies understand best practices in maximizing test & evaluation events. 4) A recent post by the indomitable Jon Lazar, Director of OSD Innovation & Modernization Office, who is looking for applications for Thunderstorm 24-4 for "Expeditionary Operations." I had a great discussion earlier today with an early-stage startup. They have a capability that could have broad applications across the government, and all they want to do is DEMONSTRATE IT AND GET END USER FEEDBACK. They want to pursue the #defense market, and yet have no easy way to do this. The Bravo Hackathons were the venue that came closest to providing this, from what I'm tracking. A personal insight on the Precision Hackathon by BRAVE1⚡️ Some of you may recall that I previously worked at Brave1. It was incredible to see at the hackathon how the teams I observed a year ago had grown and now have their own productions. Most importantly, they are demonstrating their achievements on the battlefield. Therefore, I always support: 🔥 partnerships and experience exchange — Defence Builder was among the partners of the hackathon; 🔥 boosting and strengthening teams — we must do everything possible to help them grow because it’s a collective effort to work on the country's defence. I made a speech at Tech-talks and shared the same knowledge I share with the Defence Builder startups. Now, everyone who attended has a checklist on how to launch their project, attract investments, and achieve successful results, ensuring they not only survive but thrive. Should I share it publicly?
