Last week FDC de Argentina conducted a workshop focused on Unconventional Workflow Integration using KAPPA Engineering softwares and Dash Energy along with distinguished professionals from YPF SA. 📊 During the training, attendants conducted a detailed benchmark of the La Amarga Chica area versus Bajada del Palo Oeste: ➢ Completion and production statistics for all the wells in Bajada del Palo Oeste were carried out. For La Amarga Chica, only wells post-2020 were considered. ➢ A Multiwell forecast was built, normalizing the wells of La Amarga Chica to the number of fractures and p50 branch length of Bajada del Palo Oeste. ➢ Both type wells were constructed and compared, resulting in higher Qopeak and EUR@25 years for the La Amarga Chica type well. ➢ Finally, Single Well economics were calculated for both type wells at P50%. 💥 We hope participants enjoyed exploring Dash Energy! #DASH #OilAndGas #EconomicAnalysis #DashEnergy #SAASsolution #Unconventional #oilgas #EconomicEvaluation #oil #gas #reservoir #FDC #software #KappaEngineering #DashOverview #DataVisualization #EconomicForecast #OilAndGasSoftware

Petrobras launched this Tuesday, February 20th, the pilot phase and implementation of the High Pressure Separation (Hisep) technology, which emerges with disruptive potential for the oil and gas sector on a global scale. The director of Coppe/UFRJ, Professor Suzana Kahn Ribeiro, and the director of the Low Carbon Technology Solutions Center at Coppe, Alfredo Renault, were present at the project implementation ceremony at the Cenpes Convention Center. The technology, whose development involved academia and service provider companies, allows for the separation of carbon dioxide from natural gas and oil, already at the seabed, and reinjects it into the reservoir. According to Renault, Hisep will increase production process efficiency, reduce costs and emission intensity, enhance operational safety, and contribute to sector decarbonization through carbon capture. "It's a major research project led by Cenpes, it´s a technology that will impact global oil production," he evaluated. Hisep will be tested in the Mero field, in the Santos Basin, and according to Petrobras assessment, it has the potential to optimize production in fields with high Gas-Oil Ratio (GOR) and CO² content, and also to serve as a model for future exploration and production operations worldwide. This prior separation and reinjection of CO2-rich gas at the seabed prevents this gas volume from being processed on the platform. This allows the unit to have a smaller and simpler gas processing plant, as part of the gas will be removed beforehand in the underwater environment, enabling an increase in oil processing at the unit. Coppe is a pioneer in the partnership between universities and the oil industry, and the accumulated expertise is available to assist the sector in decarbonizing its activities towards the desired energy transition. #researchanddevelopment #technology #oilandgas #decarbonization #lowcarbon #carboncapture
