I'm thrilled to share that I've completed my postgraduate program in 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 at Porto Business School. This program was a perfect complement to my professional journey, enhancing my understanding and expertise in the field. Key Learnings 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: I deepened my expertise in BI, including advanced dimensional data modeling and ETL processes. 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀: I learned about the infrastructure behind Big Data, working with distributed systems for data collection, storage and analysis, utilizing technologies such as YARN, HDFS, and MapReduce. I also gained hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks, which enhanced my proficiency in large-scale data processing. Additionally, I explored NoSQL databases and the essentials of cloud computing, crucial for scalable data engineering solutions. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: I explored core aspects of data science, studying statistical analysis, probability, and hands-on data mining. My experience includes practical projects simulating real-world problems like clustering, classification, regression, and association. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀: I developed skills in building predictive models using R, exploring methods such as tree-based models, SVMs, and neural networks, all backed by rigorous evaluation techniques. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: I tackled real challenges through projects with companies like Sonae and DEUS.ai, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction with data-driven insights and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
