Influencer marketing at its most effective, simplist form can be seen in Kemo Sabe: 1. Have a fun, aspirational product that's equal parts experiential (the cocktail, the branding of the hat, the decor) and tangible (the hat you center your outfits around). 2. Build a brand by participating in everything from Sundance to hotel pop ups. 3. Charge a premuim. 4. Host a strategic mix of celebs (Kyle Richards, etc) and influencers (the coveted Alex Earle) to experience it (probably... for free...) and watch droves of people line up to experience it themselves. Is it creating buzz? For sure. Is it translating into sales? I hope so.
