R U OK? Day is an initiative held annually on the second Thursday of September to promote mental health awareness and encourage people to check in on friends, family, and colleagues. The day focuses on starting conversations to ensure that those struggling with life’s challenges feel supported. The key message is simple: by asking, "Are you OK?" and listening to the answer, people can help those who might be struggling emotionally.

In honor of #WorldMentalHealthDay on October 10th, Lundbeck rolls out our #UnitedAgainstStigma campaign over the next couple of weeks. This year, we will focus on the importance of listening and learning from people with lived experience. In the coming weeks, we will share how we collaborate with our partners to eliminate stigma and normalize discussions about mental health not just on World Mental Health Day, but throughout the year #AdvancingBrainHealth
