It doesnt move me that an organization like African National Congress(ANC) was able to fill up a stadium with a capacity of over 45000. This organization has more than 4000 branches, led by Branch Executive Committee(BEC) which also consists of 20 people.
If you multiply 4000 branches by 20 BEC members, it gives me 80 000 people. This excludes National Executive Committee(NEC), Provincial Executive Committees(PEC), Regional Executive Committees(REC), All Autonomous Structures and Alliance structures.
These above mentioned numbers proves that theres no stadium in the entire country that ANC could fail to fill up.
My concern, a giant organization like ANC cannot celebrate filling up the stadium because its given that they are capable to do that at any given day, year and time.
It saddens me to see so many leaders celebrating that, instead of celebrating the achievements of what this giant organization has achieved during this past 5years while being trusted by the electorate.
Im expecting the President to give us a proper plan on how they are going to fix our basic problems such as potholes, value for money we pay as ratepayers, lazy ANC councillors, a clear strategy for all councils to account for the use of public money.
I also expect him to give proper plan to deal with all micro and macroeconomic issues our country is faced with. Lastly, i so wish kungaba nama minimum academic requirements for someone to qualify to be a ward councillor instead of just taking anyone.
