Norwegian Jammertest 2024 We are pleased to announce that Helix Geospace will be participating in the Jammertest 2024 event in Andøya, Norway, from September 9-13th, to test our antenna solutions. This Jammertest is the world's largest test event where resistance to jamming and spoofing can be tested in a real environment. It is organised by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Norwegian Communications Authority, Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, Norwegian Metrology Service, Norwegian Space Agency and Testnor. Participants will evaluate #GNSS antennas and receivers in a controlled setting, where they will be directly subjected to jamming signals to measure their resilience. Improving the robustness of #GNSS technologies to withstand intentional interference and jamming is crucial for preserving the integrity and reliability of global #PNT services. The Jammertest unites field experts and stakeholders to examine GNSS vulnerabilities, aiming to develop and introduce enhanced, more robust solutions into the market. Good afternoon from #overtoperator. It has been a little over a month since the #Spacepower conference by the #SFA, and we are fast approaching the week of #SpaceCom. Whether the US has it exactly right with their assessment in this instance or not, the proliferation of threats in space is accelerating, as is the normalisation of unfriendly behaviours (thank you for that phrase Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Couple this with an increased use of commercial space services and hardware to bolster national space capabilities, and it is not just militaries or governments that need to protect their high value assets. The means to do this exists, but needs the appropriate, immediate investment of resources to develop and deploy it in time to meet the threat.
