Day 1 of the Daxko YMCA CEO Summit 2024 set the stage for a transformative gathering of leaders committed to community impact 🤝 The discussions continued with an insightful session featuring Bjørn Bjerkøe, Tom Gardner, Jeff VanDixhorn and Cesar Silva, where we explored the new Daxko & YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office) alliance—an exciting partnership poised to drive innovation and collaboration across YMCAs nationwide. The day progressed with an inspiring tour of the YMCA of the North, led by Glen Gunderson and his incredible team. The preview of the George Wellbeing Center, Equity Innovation Center, and Virtual Y Studio demonstrated how the YMCA is at the forefront of creating spaces that support holistic community well-being. We closed the evening with a memorable rooftop experience at the YMCA of the North, where we enjoyed a taste of Minnesota, followed by a fantastic dinner at one of Minneapolis’ best, Fhimas Minneapolis. Looking forward to the insights and connections that Day 2 will bring as we continue to explore how we can collectively strengthen our communities 💗
