It's always a party at Door No. 3! Hat tip for celebrating 30 years in business. I'm grateful to be part of writing this current chapter.
From a new business perspective, it's no small feat to grow an agency. For 30 years, no less. Striking the right balance of growth is a delicate dance.
Providing excellent care for your existing clients while running ahead to cultivate new clients. Building a sticky culture where top talent wants to stay while creating demand to grow the bench. Marketing for others, while also marketing for yourself. Staying heads down in the work while staying up on constantly evolving trends. You get it.
Holding all of these tensions is the daily work of growth. It's the daily inputs, those little disciplines that compound over time. Keep at it today!
Great to see the #COP28 agreeing on a pragmatic approach of the Energy Transition!

An insightful time for AtkinsRéalis at COP28 hosted in the UAE. It was great to connect with key decision-makers in both the public and private sectors, to discuss the pivotal challenges and opportunities in achieving net-zero targets.
The commitment to transition away from fossil fuels stands as a historic milestone in climate diplomacy. This summit showcased the power of unity across nations and sectors, paving the way for a sustainable future. Emphasizing tangible action over mere words, it sets a new standard in our collective climate journey.
COP28 has indeed been a turning point, reinforcing our shared responsibility to safeguard our planet for future generations.

We warmly congratulate the COP28 UAE Presidency for The UAE Consensus, the landmark deal signed by almost 200 countries.
The agreement forged over days of intense discussions between governments brings many opportunities for those energy and commodities companies — such as BGN — that are committed to supporting the energy transition.
The race is on to decarbonize: through efficiency improvements, addressing emissions from fossil fuels, investing in renewables and the use of transitional fuels to accelerate the transition and ensure energy security.
COP28 also underscored the importance of mobilizing finance for carbon removals and developing robust carbon crediting systems. Strengthening the integrity of voluntary carbon trading, and using this rapidly growing market to reinforce the emissions trading compliance market, should be a priority for policy makers and businesses.
Congratulations also to Mundo Verde Climate for its important contributions to the side events around the summit, helping to put investment in renewables and nature-based projects for carbon crediting higher up the agenda.

🆕 Climate Deal APPROVED at COP28
👏 United Nations climate negotiators directed the world today to transition away from planet-warming fossil fuels in a move the talks chief called historic, despite critics worries about loopholes.
🎯 Within minutes of opening December 13th session, COP28 President Sultan al-Jaber gaveled approval of the central document –
the global stocktake that says how far the world is off-track it climate-fighting goals and how it is going to get back – without asking for comments.
“It is a plan that is led by the science,’’ Dr. Sultan Jaber said. “It is an enhanced, balanced but make no mistake, a historic package to accelerate climate action. It is the UAE consensus.”
🌟 Today we made very important ADVACEMENT!

The main highlight with COP28 has been the commitment to reduce the use of fossil fuels, one commitment that I feel is not getting enough credit is the UAE Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action.
134 countries, covering 70% of the world’s land, have signed the Emirates Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action, committing to integrate food into their climate plans by 2025. The declaration was signed by many countries with the highest food-related greenhouse gas emissions, including Brazil, China, the European Union, the United States.
I am proud of my country Zimbabwe uniting with other countries and I can say the UAE delivered for farmers with the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate increasing support for agricultural innovation ad research from 8 Billion to 17 Billion to support innovation in agriculture. #COP28#uniteactdeliver#partnerships4growth
Making history From #parisagreement to #UAEConsensus.
With an unprecedented reference to transitioning away from all #fossilfuels The UAE Consensus is delivering a paradigm shift that has the potential to redefine our economies.
UNFCCC UNCOP28 UAE
This marks a moment of global solidarity for collective action. The UAE Consensus has been passed.
The text recognises the need for deep, rapid and sustained reductions if humanity is to limit temperature rises to 1.5C above pre-industrial levels.
Together we can redefine economies to achieve a paradigm shift within planetary boundaries.
Standing ovation after 'world first' agreement at #COP28UAE!!
“Let us finish what we have started," said COP28 President Sultan al-Jaber, as the room erupted in applause.
"We have language on fossil fuels in our final agreement for the first time ever." He called it "historic".
The deal is not legally-binding, but calls on all countries to move away from the use of fossil fuels, for the first time in almost 30 years of COP climate summits.
New Scientist said:
“For the first time in the history of the COP process, the phrase "fossil fuels" has appeared in a climate summit agreement, as part of a promise for the world to begin "transitioning away" from the leading cause of global warming!
Fossil fuels will not be “phased out”, but the world has now agreed that we must rapidly transition away from using oil, gas and coal in order to reach net zero by 2050, in a historic moment at the COP28 climate summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
