🎓 Last weekend, I completed my education at the Oxford AI Programme 2024, and I am thrilled to share my feelings and learnings from this incredible journey! Returning to school was both exciting and inspiring. The experience of diving deep into the technical understanding of AI technology, which is transforming societies, companies, and individuals worldwide, has been immensely valuable. As someone who blends analytical intelligence with creative intelligence and firmly believes in lifelong learning, this programme was a perfect fit for my continuous personal development. Although balancing my busy work schedule with being a student again was challenging initially, I thoroughly enjoyed the process. The curriculum was sharp, smart, and highly professional, making every moment worthwhile. Although a little late, I’m elated to share that I’ve been accepted into The Junior Academy of The New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS). It’s an innovative program where students from across the globe come together to collaborate on pressing challenges facing the world today, guided by mentors and leading STEM experts. Of the three challenges offered, I’ll be undertaking the Ethical AI challenge, which dives deep into some of the biggest questions facing technology today. While AI has incredible potential to transform industries and improve lives, it brings significant ethical dilemma, such as deep-fakes, biased algorithms, and the use of AI in areas like art generation. Along with fellow participants, I will find ways to harness the power of AI while setting up the right boundaries to prevent harm. I’m excited to explore this complex topic and contribute to solutions that ensure AI benefits everyone, ethically and responsibly. #ai #deepfakes #science #tech #stem
