Youth is the strength of societies. 💪 Ten years ago, the UN established World Youth Skills Day to highlight the importance of equipping young people with essential skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship. As we celebrate its 10th anniversary, we reflect on progress and the need to adapt to changing educational and labor markets. Today's youth face challenges such as violent conflicts, unsafe educational environments, online hate speech, and unequal economic opportunities. Addressing these issues is crucial for equipping youth to participate effectively in peacebuilding and conflict resolution. Today we mark #YouthSkillsDay. Let us commit to empowering young people for a peaceful, just, and inclusive future: https://lnkd.in/eHiKUUiD

Our ocean is losing its breath. Since 1960s, the ocean has lost 2% of its oxygen as a result of climate change, intensive farming and coastal pollution. Low oxygen levels threaten vital marine ecosystem, pushing them towards collapse. This alarming trend highlights the urgent need for conservation efforts to #SaveOurOcean. #PhotoOfTheDay: Mexico City, 1968. Some consider the Athletes’ Parade to be the first event of the Olympic Games, do you agree? In this image, the style of the outfits designed by Jacques ESTEREL for the French female was reminiscent of the film “The Young Girls of Rochefort”.
