We’re proud to announce that our portfolio company cylib has officially broken ground on its first-of-its-kind industrial battery recycling facility in Chempark Dormagen, Germany! ♻️ This facility will have the capacity to recycle 30,000 tons of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries per year, marking a significant step forward in securing Europe's supply of critical raw materials. With operations set to begin in 2026, cylib is on a mission to build a circular battery economy and support Europe’s path toward sustainable industrial #transformation. Located at the heart of Europe’s chemical industry, the #IndustrialPlant is set to drive the next-gen #CircularEconomy and help Europe reduce its reliance on imported critical materials. 📚 This exciting development comes alongside cylib’s recent feature in "Zukunftslust", the latest book by Prof. Dr. Achim Kampker, published just a week ago.
