Fahe's recent advocacy campaigns in Kentucky and Tennessee are shining examples of the impactful outcomes that can be achieved through collective advocacy efforts. In Kentucky, Fahe led the establishment of a Rural Housing Trust Fund (RHTF) with an initial $20 million allocation, while in Tennessee, an investment ranging from $10-14 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds was secured to provide affordable housing for working families. Maggie Riden, Fahe's Senior Vice President of Advocacy, emphasized the importance of documenting these successes, stating, "Our work is subject to so many variables and so outside the control of any one group that I feel like when you have a success, it’s really important to capture it and do what you can to share that." These initiatives not only address critical housing needs but also showcase the power of small networks and marginalized communities in driving significant change through united advocacy efforts.
