Of course, every visionary government like that of #Diomaye & #Sonko would emulate President #PaulKagame and his style of governance. We’ve clearly seen with our own eyes that in Africa, all colonialist and neo-colonialist government infrastructures have woefully failed and worked against us in all ramifications. But the #Kagamestyle has been tried, tested and proven to be the most effective and productive way forward for African leadership and governance. It’s just a matter of time until we see a complete paradigmic shift in governance in Africa with a continuous wave of new breeds of resilient, visionary, courageous and Pro-African young leaders deciding the future of the continent without globalists and colonists influences.

SRI LANKA NEEDS A NEW BREED OF YOUNG LEADERS At the turn of the 20th century, Ceylon as Sri Lanka was then known had produced leaders of great stature and values. They held responsible positions under the colonial administration in the run upto independence. Soon after independence, divisive racial politics dominated independent Sri Lanka’s political landscape since the 1950s. At the forefront of these moves were men with impeccable pedigree and education, but needless to say lacking ethical and moral values. The few who were “decent” lacked the courage to take a stand against the unscrupulous ring leaders. Sri Lanka continues to reap the consequences of twisted values of its early builders while continuing to attract even more unscrupulous leaders into governance. Most today not only lack values but also basic education. The leaders Sri Lanka needs are men and women of character and values. There are many, but they need to find the courage to step up and breakthrough a rough and toxic political culture. #srilanka #futureleaders

AFRICAN PUBLIC SQUARE LAUNCHED: The African Public Square (#APS-ALC) - a platform to debate and find solutions to Africa's pressing problems has been truly and properly launched. It was a great engagement here in Nairobi tackling the intractable, complex and complicated issues of Sudan and South Sudan. Interesting solutions proposed by eminent panellists. Central addressing the rise of militia who are capturing the state and national resources and external agendas by myriad actors. Empowering the people to decide on how the nation, society and the state should address issues before rushing into elections. #APS-ALC

On April 17, 2024, I made this presentation to paticipants of Future Leaders of ASEAN at the Foreign Ministry of Timor-Leste. This paper is also a further elaboration of presentations to the UN Agency leaders at the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in March 2024. This draft also is evolution of presentation at a seminar at Harvard University Asia Center but with perspective of Timor-Leste being member of ASEAN and other seminars in different universities/institutes, media, and NGOs over the last few years. It’s truly disheartening and embarrassing that our African leaders, particularly those from sub-Saharan Africa, have brought such shame and disappointment to our people. The fact that a small country like South Korea can host a summit with forty-eight African nations speaks volumes about the state of governance and leadership in our continent. We see American-Africa summits, Russia-Africa summits, China-Africa summits, and now a South Korea-Africa summit. How is it that a single, small nation can summon the collective presence of nearly an entire continent? The answer lies in the corrupt politicians and incompetent governance that have reduced our great nations to this state. Our leaders should reflect on their actions and strive to restore the dignity and respect that Africa deserves on the global stage. It’s a shame that we’ve been reduced to this by those who were supposed to uplift us.

We the people of Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 that's how we started our mornings, and that's the norm for students today. Some may think that this country will become a "Developed" country. My advice, if you wish to live in a Developed country, move to one. Because PNG will NEVER be a "Developed" country. Stagnant or very slowly. Same story, same so-called leaders, etc.... same old same old. Time is spent on fighting over power or rearranging their new structures while the people suffer. before you know it, elections appear. and the same thing starts all over. Until and unless, there are "True Leaders". Not businessmen (Moni man), I'm talking about true leaders that put their comfort last, and the people first, PNG will be come a Developed country. Someone wants to make us a rich black Christan national while we already are (natural resources, human resource, etc.) True Leadership is the key 🗝️ to move this nation forward.

When you push a people to the depth of inequity and hunger, how else do we expect them to react. Now we are all united by hunger. That means the majority of the people are hungry.
