A diagnosis of dementia doesn’t mean you have to stop doing what you love. 💙 If someone with dementia enjoys gardening, it's important to make adaptations as their dementia progresses, so they can continue doing what they love for as long as possible. 🌱 Do you know someone who loves to spend time in the garden? Tag them in the comments to help spread awareness. #Gardening #Dementia #DementiaAwareness
Love this post!💚 it’s true, when a person gets diagnosed with dementia, we tend to view them as their diagnosis and no longer as a person. There is a lot stigma towards those who have a dementia diagnosis. Yes there may be things they are unable to do, but there are also loads of activities they can participate in with the correct assistance.

Supported international travel at its best. Every staff member has receieved training in dementia care (even the gardener) and first aid with Registered Nurses and carers onsite. www.jasriresort.com
