Streaming now accounts for 38.5% of viewing! Impressive, right? Here are some interesting observations on the streaming industry: - Did you know that Tubi is almost equal to Disney+ in terms of viewership? - Surprisingly, YouTube has more viewers than Netflix! - Prime Video lags behind Hulu in viewership. - MAX exceeds Paramount+ (really?) - With these insights, can you see a giant opportunity for a new streaming platform? The streaming industry is constantly evolving, and these observations show just how competitive it can be. Which platform do you prefer? Let me know in the comments below! Streaming losses are killing Disney and Paramount! They won’t (can’t) keep that up forever. Only Netflix has reached the level of subscribers needed to pay for all the content AND make money. Amazon might be but can’t be sure since it’s all lumped in with “all-things Prime”. The others will likely band together, then we’ll be back paying through the nose like we did with cable. Ultimately they’ll all go with advertising to make money from streaming. Or we’ll be watching Gunsmoke forever, lol.
