Walmart with Walmart Connect is growing a lot! The platform is getting better! A few very interesting metrics are: 1/ % of new to-brand sales 2/In-store attributed sales. For now, I don't really track in-store sales given it's still in Beta but it's very interesting to see how this grows over time as spending increases. Finally, everything is getting more and more integrated and now brands can share more about how online advertisement supports in-store sales.

Walmart's market value topped $500 billion Thursday, with shares up 7% — hitting an intraday record of $64.22 — after the company beat expectations for its first quarter. E-commerce rose 22% and delivery volume beat out store pickup for the first time — a convenience factor that's attracting a new fan base of higher-income customers. Still, Walmart's decade-long tenure as the country's biggest company by revenue could be at risk, The Wall Street Journal says. Amazon saw 12% revenue growth last year, 2X Walmart's 6% increase. Walmart is the nation's largest retailer and private employer, and some see it as a bellwether for the overall economy. Walmart is cutting hundreds of corporate jobs and pushing employees in smaller offices such as Dallas, Atlanta and Toronto to move to corporate HQ in Bentonville, Ark., and digital business HQ in Hoboken, N.J. and former HQ of JET.com which Walmart acquired in 2016 for $3 billion.
