My background in 20 plus year career in healthcare technology and global financial services has shown me firsthand the importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace. In both industries, I have dealt with high-pressure situations, complex problem-solving, and the need for effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.
In healthcare technology, empathy and understanding are crucial when working with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members. Being able to listen actively, show empathy, and communicate effectively can make a significant difference in patient outcomes and overall satisfaction. Additionally, in global financial services, emotional intelligence is essential for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and concerns, and navigating the complexities of the financial markets.
Overall, my experiences in these industries have taught me that emotional intelligence is not just a soft skill, but a critical factor in driving success and creating a positive work environment. It enables better decision-making, stronger relationships, and more effective collaboration, ultimately leading to improved outcomes and greater overall success in the workplace. #clinical_ Psychiatrist #class of 2028 #summer2term #excelsior_university 📚📚📚
