Now that school is out, children will be spending more time at home–and possibly more time on their devices. Common Sense Media, an organization that reviews and rates media for youth, reports that the average teenager spends 50 hours online each week. It's critical that we learn internet safeguarding as well as teach basic internet safety guidelines to children, teens, and young adults. ISPU’s Meeting the Needs of Muslim Youth: Growing Up Safe and Positively Engaged Online provides checkpoints for parents and organizations to facilitate healthy online engagement. My heart aches for the two 14-year-old students and two teachers who lost their lives in the tragic mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia. The nine others who were wounded, including eight students and one teacher, are now fighting to recover. The question echoes in my mind: Why is there so much evil among us, leading children to steal assault weapons and commit such heinous acts of violence? We must urgently look within ourselves, our families, and our communities to unearth the root causes of this devastating trend in America. Two years ago, I immersed myself in the exploration of technology solutions for school safety. Leading a dedicated team of developers, we poured our hearts and souls into the development of CyttaCARES.com. Our tireless efforts have come to fruition, and I am proud to announce that CyttaCARES is now market-ready. This innovative tool surpasses existing solutions on the market, offering schools the ability to respond swiftly in emergencies and potentially save lives in critical situations. CyttaCARES is a game-changer in enhancing school safety and security, and we are excited to see it make a positive impact in the education community. Schools and parents alike must adopt a more proactive and aggressive stance in protecting our children. We need to delve deeper into our core values and address the underlying issues, such as the pervasive sense of unworthiness and deep depression that grips many young hearts. The impact of social media, video games, and the constant bombardment of get-rich-quick schemes leading to despair, compounded by technology replacing jobs, is tearing families apart. We must unite and support one another to restore strength and unity to our society. Together, we can make a difference. Let us stand as a community and lend a helping hand to those in need. #schoolshootings #protectchildren #protectfamilies #SchoolSafety #CyttaCARES #EducationTechnology #CommunityUnity #YouthMentalHealth #ViolencePrevention #ProtectOurChildren #SocialResponsibility #TechForGood #FamilyValues #UnityInDiversity #SupportEachOther #EndViolence #BuildingCommunity #TogetherWeCan

“I know many children who are being bullied online.” Lissing Enock, 24, is a U-Report youth U-ambassador in Vanuatu, who received training on child online protection and how to support children to stay safe on the internet. To support children’s online protection, Lissing emphasizes the importance of parents knowing what their children do online and for them to supervise and support their internet use – including by talking to their children about harmful content that they might come across and how to access accurate information. As we mark #SaferInternetDay, we need to continue to support child safety online, by raising awareness and providing children, young people, and parents with skills on how to stay safe.

Internship🏆 | Volunteering💡| Workshops👨🏫 | Social Events🏁 Vision: To Bring Sustainable Livelihood🧘♀️Focus: Physical & Mental Health Awareness 👼
In a world where child safety is increasingly at risk, education is the most potent tool for prevention. Workshops like the one organized by the ANON Global Foundation at Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony serve as invaluable resources for empowering children with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves from harm. By fostering open dialogue, promoting awareness, and teaching essential safety measures, we can create safer environments where children can thrive without fear. Children often lack the knowledge and vocabulary to identify and articulate inappropriate touch. Therefore, workshops like these play a pivotal role in providing them with the necessary information and skills to recognize and respond to various forms of touch appropriately. Knowing when and how to seek help is essential for children's safety. The workshop equipped students with the knowledge of whom to approach if they encounter an unsafe touch, whether it be a teacher, parent, or helpline. #ChildSafety #EmpowerChildren #SafeTouch #UnsafeTouch #ProtectingChildren #EducationForSafety #Boundaries #ConsentAwareness #WorkshopsForKids #AnonGlobalFoundation #SummerFieldSchool
