Job Duties and Responsibilities DISH is looking for an engineer with hands-on experience with AWS services and scripting languages such as Python and Bash. This team operates the Wireless IT OSS(Operational Support Systems) platform. Together with BSS(Business Support Systems) and Network CORE system supports various end-to-end telecommunication services like Device & SIM provisioning, Order Provisioning, Number Management, and LTP/BPI inventory. Responsibilities: Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution within agreed time limits Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem Interact with clients/vendors through a series of actions, either via phone, email, or chat, until they've solved a technical issue Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting Active monitoring of alerts & operational dashboards for availability, latency, performance, and capacity, e nsuring all issues are properly logged Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system, software & hardware issues Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams Writing scripts for automation of error handling & handling order fallouts Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time Prepare accurate and timely reports Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals Skills, Experience and Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field with 6+ years experience, or 7+ years of software engineering experience Skills: Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer building and maintainin
